© Rus '96 licensed by Enesco ©1997.  An exquisite angel stands of a 1 1/2" tall octagonal platform (the music box) decorated with silver and gold abstract inlaid designs on all sides with a more elaborate panel - a blue-green diamond shape - on the front. When the base's front panel is centered, the angel faces left so that the folded wings are in full view.  The skirt of the deeply pleated black gown is trimmed with two narrow silvery bands and flares at the floor as if she just turned around.  Her sleeves for a bolero-style cape with a wide fringe with turquoise and pink banding.  Her trumpet is also "dressed" with an elaborately decorated drape.  A stiffly starched fan-shaped embroidered collar of the jacket rises up to caress her hair with its matching headband and frame her face.  Her eyes are closed as she plays with fingers that barely support her instrument.  From the back the tip of the wings part ever so slightly. ©Rus '96 appears beneath the wings on the right side of the skirt.  Two of four furniture protectors are missing.  Parastone, imported.
