African-American Heritage Figurine: Boy Shows Off
You look at him and see an oversized floppy-brim striped hat that does match his trousers you'd call "floods" beccause they touch the tops of his brown shoes and keep them from getting wet should he step in a puddle. What else he's wearing is puzzling.  Yes, he's is has on a jacket, but is that another jacket underneath it or a shirt? Anyway, it's funny-looking and his string tie is a bit crooked but it is tied. He definitely must have dressed himself ... with obvious pride because he did it himself. Yet he's not sure if everything is just right. So he looks up at you and seems to ask, "How do I look?" You smile and say .... Hand-painted polyresin. Imported, ca. 2005.
